Jeffrey D. Schultz DDS, MMS
Dr. Schultz was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He received his undergraduate education from Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, PA, majoring in Chemistry. Dr. Schultz then enrolled in the Master of Medical Science Program in Anesthesia at the Emory University School of Medicine. Following the completion of his Master’s Degree, he was employed as a Physician Assistant Anesthetist in the Department of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia at Emory University Hospital. It was there that he met his future wife, Sharon, who was employed by Emory as a Critical Care Cardiac ICU nurse. In 1984, Dr. Schultz entered the Emory University School of Dentistry where he was an Emily Woodruff Scholar, graduating as a member of the last class of the School of Dentistry in 1988. He then continued his post-graduate advanced dental education at Emory University and Affiliated Hospitals, completing his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1992.
Dr. Schultz has been in private practice in the Newnan, Peachtree City and Fayetteville areas since 1996. From 1999 through 2020, he was also an Adjunct Associate Professor of Surgery at the Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of the ADA, GDA, Georgia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Southeastern Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He was elected to the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Schultz is a past President of the Georgia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and continues to serve as a Georgia delegate in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons House of Delegates. He has served as an AAOMS Southeastern District Caucus Secretary and Chair and additionally has been appointed to numerous important AAOMS (Committee on Anesthesia, Commission on Professional Conduct, Reference Committee) GDA (Governmental Affairs) and state committees. He is past Chair of the AAOMS Commission on Professional Conduct. In 2022, Dr. Schultz was honored to be appointed by Governor Brian Kemp to the Georgia Board of Dentistry. He currently is on staff at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Dr. Schultz and Sharon now are essentially empty nesters, having raised six children and witnessing them flourish. His hobbies include enjoying lake living on Lake Martin, boating, golfing, woodworking, and never-ending do-it-yourself projects. He enjoys practicing the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Vincent J. Perciaccante DDS, FACS
Dr. Perciaccante was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He received both his undergraduate and dental school education at New York University. In 1995, Dr. Perciaccante moved to the Atlanta area to pursue his specialty training at Emory University. Dr. Perciaccante completed an Internship and Residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as a Fellowship in Facial Aesthetic Surgery. After completing his training in 2000, Dr. Perciaccante joined the full-time faculty at Emory University School of Medicine and served as the Residency Program Director and Chief of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Grady Memorial Hospital thru 2007. He continues on the part-time faculty at Emory as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Surgery. He teaches and supervises the residents at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.
Dr. Perciaccante is President of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) is a Diplomate of both the ABOMS and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He has served on the Examination Committee of the ABOMS has been Co-Chair of the Orthognathic, Trauma, Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Facial Cosmetic Surgery section of the Oral Certifying Examination of the Boards. Dr. Perciaccante is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has written for several textbooks on Orthognathic Surgery, Temporomandibular Joint Surgery, Dentoalveolar Surgery, Preprosthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery and lectures regularly at National and International meetings and also at local meetings throughout the country.
Dr. Perciaccante has served as the President of the Georgia Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery section of the International Association of Dental Research. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Northern District Dental Society. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and has served as the Chairman of the Committee on Residency Education and Training, of which he is still a member. Dr. Perciaccante is a consultant to the Georgia Board of Dentistry on Anesthesia. He is a site visitor for the American Dental Association’s Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), examining Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery resident training programs and also has served on CODA’s Residency Review Committee. After serving six years as an examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Perciaccante served an eight-year term as a member of the Board of Directors. He is currently a Past President of the ABOMS and remains on the Examination Committee.
Dr. Perciaccante provides general anesthesia for procedures when appropriate. He practices the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, including wisdom tooth removal and extractions, dental implant placement, maxillofacial pathology and reconstruction, surgery for temporomandibular disorders and facial trauma. Dr. Perciaccante has a particular interest in orthognathic (corrective jaw) surgery and facial aesthetic surgery and is one of the most active and experienced orthognathic surgeons in the southeast.
Dr. Perciaccante lives in Peachtree City, with his wife Amy and children Antonia and Dominic.
H. Jacobi Peoples, DMD
Dr. Peoples was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, where he also received his early education. He attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham, earning his undergraduate degree in 2014 and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2018, graduating with honors in both programs.
After dental school, Dr. Peoples entered private practice as a general dentist in Birmingham, AL, where he worked for two years. He then continued his training by completing a one-year internship at Harlem Hospital Center in 2021. Following this internship, Dr. Peoples relocated to Washington, DC to pursue surgical training and completed his residency at Howard University in 2025.
Dr. Peoples is passionate about dentistry and surgery. He is committed not only to serving those around him but also to performing his work to the highest standards of excellence. He stays current with the latest techniques and continues his education and training annually. He applies the knowledge gained from this ongoing education to provide a positive and comfortable experience for his patients. Dr. Peoples enjoys the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery and has special interests in wisdom tooth removal, dental implant placement, maxillofacial trauma, and corrective jaw surgery.
He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Political Action Committee, and the American Dental Association.
In his spare time, Dr. Peoples enjoys traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, science fiction, anime, and reading manga. He is also a sports enthusiast and considers himself a food connoisseur who enjoys discovering new culinary experiences.
Dr. Peoples currently resides in Peachtree City with his wife, Martil, and their daughter, Zya Mary.
Jennifer D. Keyser DDS
Dr. Keyser was born and raised in New Enterprise, Pennsylvania. She attended Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Pre-Dentistry. Dr. Keyser continued her education at the University of Maryland College of Dental Surgery, Dental School, completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1997.
She moved to the Atlanta area in 1997 to pursue her surgical training and completed internship, residency, and fellowship training at Emory University in 2003. Dr. Keyser joined the teaching faculty in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and in reflection has found the teaching of residents to be one of the most gratifying aspects of her career. She returned to her native Pennsylvania in 2004 and remained in Private Practice with Oral Surgery Associates of Central PA until May of 2017 where the lure of the South and the beauty of Fayette County brought her and her family here once again to join South OMS.
Her love of teaching and commitment to her faith led her and her family to serve as short-term missionaries for 9 months in Cameroon, Africa through the Samaritan’s Purse organization in 2012-2013. While assigned to Mbingo Baptist Hospital, Dr. Keyser trained general surgeons in the management and treatment of oral and maxillofacial pathology, facial trauma, and head and neck surgery. Her great love of missions continues to thrive today.
Dr. Keyser is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Surgery with Emory Univerity, a member of the Georgia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
She enjoys all aspects of practicing oral and maxillofacial surgery including dentoalveolar surgery, oral pathology, oral rehabilitation through dental implant placement, facial trauma, and management of temporomandibular joint disorders.
Dr. Keyser and her husband currently reside in Peachtree City and have 3 children.
