New Associate Scheduling Recommendations
As our Payer Relations and Credentialing Team works to get your new associate credentialed with payers, we’d like to provide you with the following recommendations. These recommendations allow your new associate to begin seeing patients with little to no lag time in their schedules.
- We recommend that you do NOT schedule any patients who have government insurance (Medicare, VA, Medicaid, etc) or have a medical payer as primary that must be billed before the dental payer.
- We recommend that you schedule any patients on the new associates schedule who have a dental payer as primary. While these claims will likely process out of network, our RCM leadership team will work with you on how to adjust once payment is received to honor in network rates.
