🔹 Default Provider for 7 to 7 Referrals 🔹 Respecting Referral Instructions 🔹 If You Are Unsure

Team,

Please review and follow the 7 to 7 referral preference guidelines below. It's critical that we are reading every referral thoroughly and carefully to ensure accurate routing and uphold the expectations of our referring providers.

🔹 Default Provider for 7 to 7 Referrals

- Any referral that comes from 7 to 7 without a surgeon assigned must be scheduled with Dr. Hanna.
- Even if a surgeon’s name is not explicitly checked, you must read the entire referral carefully. If it mentions:

  • Dr. Tuang
  • Dr. Clarian
  • Dr. Fuentes

These providers refer directly to Dr. Verrett, and the referral must be routed to him.

🔹 Respecting Referral Instructions

- Always read the full referral, including notes and referring provider details.
- Do not make assumptions based on unchecked boxes alone—what is written in the referral matters.
- We must respect the intent of the referral and ensure the patient is placed with the correct surgeon accordingly.

🔹 If You Are Unsure

If there is any confusion or uncertainty about where to route a referral:

✅ Immediately reach out to your supervisor or Andrew
✅ You may also escalate to Dena for further direction
❌ Do not contact the PCC or office staff for guidance—these decisions must come from leadership

Thank you for staying diligent and ensuring that every referral is handled with care and precision. Your attention to detail is essential in maintaining strong relationships with our referring providers and providing VIP service to our patients.

Let’s continue to work as a team and support each other when clarification is needed.
