SUMMER THIRD MOLAR PRIORITIZATION: Beginning now through Augus1 22, 2025 scheduling should prioritize third molar patients over other less seasonal types of
appointments. Implant patients also carry priority. For treatment other than third molars and implants, new patient consultation appointments should be limited or deferred until the end of summer.
-Blocks will be placed on the schedule to denote the priority placed on scheduling third molar patients.
-Blocks will be placed on the schedule to denote designated slots for new patient appointments for other reasons (ie: pathology, medical consultations, trauma, etc.).
-TMJ consultations SHOULD NOT be scheduled during the summer peak season
- Single tooth extractions which are referred to us by their dentist on healthy patients may be scheduled for consult/same day treatment alongside third molar surgery patients, blocking out 60-90 minutes (based on surgeon preference) in the second column (overflow) on the doctor's schedule.
- Schedule blocks will be placed on the schedule for new patient consultation appointments for patients who need something OTHER than third molars or dental implants. Once those blocks are filled, we will need permission to add more than the daily blocks permit.
The purpose of this temporary change is to free up time to accommodate more third molar patients during the peak of the season, and prevent the schedule from being monopolized with other often more complicated and less productive treatment.
In the event that a referred patient cannot wait to be seen until we have a designated slot available for them, or after 8/22, then please CONTACT THE PCC to reach back out to that patient to get them scheduled ASAP.
If in doubt about whether to schedule a new patient for a service other than wisdom teeth or dental implants please reach out to the РСС
Is this update temporary or permanent? Temporary
